Armstrong Heritage Flute, Late 60s/Early 70s, Pointed Arms for sale in Olympia, WA

1 of 1
Offering for sale this Armstrong Heritage flute, C foot, pointed arms, drawn tone holes, closed hole, and I believe these are solid silver (but do your research). Serial number H-2564, so probably late 1960s/early 1970s. These flutes were Armstrong's top model at the time and were made by artisans who went on to be noted flute makes in their own right. You can find information on this if you care to do some research. Flute body and foot are in overall good condition, the headjoint is unmarked but I have seen photos of other Heritage flutes of this era that also seem to be unmarked with the same crown. The headjoint has several ping marks as I think you should be able to see in the photos, I think it would be a fairly easy repair for your flute shop if you choose to straighten them out. Pads seem to be in ok shape, it's been several years since I've been physically able to play but at that time the flute played easily throughout its range with a lovely dark tone that many American-made flutes of that era had. May or may not need a COA. Comes in what is probably the original case in decent condition, no bad smells. Please ask any questions you might have as I can not accept returns on this instrument.
