About the employer: For over 30 years this Engineering Software firm has been delivering quality products for industrial pumping systems that account for 10-20% of the world's electrical energy demand.
This South Sound company located near Olympia were the cost of living is dramatically less then Seattle. Makes these pumping systems up to 50% more energy efficient with products that assist engineers in selecting the right pump for a given application and analyzing their pumping system for optimal efficiency under various operating conditions.
Our client engineered a solution in a niche B2B space with few competitors world wide with a total market value around $100m.
In this critical position, you'll experience the breadth of responsibilities and organizational impact you'd find at a startup, with the stability and extensive product lines of a 30 year old, stable growth company. We expect a lot, but only expect it over the course of a normal business day (although travel for this position is required).
You are a Marketing professional that has worked for a Software and or Technology firm, specifically around improving and building the companies web presence as well maximizing social and business web tools, SEO, eCommerce, etc. You are looking to work for a smaller, more enjoyable, know everyone on their first name and less bureaucratically environment and ready to take this 30 year old firm into 2014 by leveraging the web to expand its business worldwide. This is a change agent role and critical position for this company.

Compensation:$85,000.00 base salary + $20k bonus available based on achievements reached DOE
Location: Olympia, WA area
Manage a small team of professionals encompassing both direct marketing and new product/market opportunity and evaluation.
Work closely with the Director of Sales to execute a coordinated marketing/sales strategy across three product lines within multiple industry segments.
Responsible for working across functional boundaries with Product Engineering, Technology and Sales professionals in order to successfully develop and launch product.
Deliver strong ROI through development and implementation of targeted customer acquisition and retention programs encompassing advertising, direct marketing, demand and lead generation, sales communications, trade shows and events, press releases, and social media.
Quantify and qualify impact of marketing efforts by establishing success metrics, measuring marketing efforts and providing recommendations for changes in strategy based on marketing program performance.
Trade Shows (all aspects)
Drive customers to the web site, for sales, knowledge, news and support
Improve the customer message from what it is today, make it simpler and easier to understand
Strong background driving marketing efforts via the websites and eCommerce
Developing and driving B2B marketing solutions & programs via company web page
Must show work examples that support Web page marketing efforts that resulted in the following:
Made the web page easier to use and increased traffic
Was able to optimize the web site and make is simpler to use
Examples of web based promotions, SEO and metrics to track the improvement
Creative thinking, exceptional analytical skills coupled with a solid business foundation, particularly in:
Database Marketing
Direct marketing test design
ROI analysis
Segmentation analysis
Customer profiling, etc.
Experience building a strong marketing infrastructure
Ability to influence others to drive change at all levels of the organization
Superior interpersonal abilities and strong communications skills (oral and written)
Bachelor's degree required, MBA or advanced degree in business or economics (or comparable business development experience), 5+ years' experience in direct or database marketing and 3+ years in management or project management

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
