The Commercial Vehicle Division works alongside the Motor Carrier Safety Division to ensure safe travel for commercial vehicles.
The division conducts in-depth reviews, audits, and inspections.
Duties The Administrative Assistant (AA4) is the principal assistant providing administrative support to the Division Commander and the leadership team.
This position is responsible for the oversight of administrative operations within the division and ensures consistency with agency policy, procedure and local standard operating procedures.
Our new teammate will be able to:
Serve as primary point of contact on behalf of Division Commander.
Develop and maintain the Division Commander's confidential administrative files.
Updates policies in regards to procedures for administrative matters.
Prepares briefing materials, reports, and other supporting materials to be used by the Division Commander Process purchase orders and approve funds to purchase equipment, and service orders.
Coordinate and make travel arrangements Coordinate and facilitate the on-boarding and off-boarding of staff Process employee confidential records Participates in strategic and quality planning process.
Qualifications Required
Qualifications:
High school graduation or GED equivalent.
Four years of progressively responsible experience in office/clerical, secretarial, or general administrative work.
An associate degree in business administration or related field may substitute for two years of the required experience.
Working knowledge of communication and correspondence practices.
Writing, proofing, and editing skills requiring knowledge of proper English and grammar and ability to edit and proofread documents using plain talk principles.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
