AIM OF THE JOB Under the supervision of the Human Resources Manager, the HR Admin manages and coordinates caregiver onboarding and training while assisting with the coordination of recruiting efforts.
The HR Admin also handles administrative tasks related to compliance and handle sensitive information.
DIMENSIONS The Human Resources Admin:
Establishes and executes proactive retention strategies to support anticipated business growth Prioritizes critically needed positions and ensures timely staffing of these roles As a Comfort Keeper Human Resources Admin, you will be responsible for ensuring that each assigned Comfort Keepers location is fully staffed with caregivers.
Utilizing your skills with organization, strong communication and interpersonal relationships, you will be integral in ensuring that the retention needs are met for each location.

Consistently ensure franchise has adequate staffing levels to support ongoing business growth Keep up to date on current employment legislations Agility to change staffing priorities bases in accordance with changing business needs and unforeseen external factors MOST FREQUENT INTERNAL/EXTERNAL CONTACTS & NETWORKS The Human Resources Admin will work closely with the following internal contacts:
Human Resources Manager and upper management Supporting Recruiters Internal office staff Current and future caregivers The Human Resources Admin will work closely with the following external contacts:
Local job and recruitment sources Outside vendors Each day varies in responsibilities, and you will need to flex your priorities to the needs of the business.
This requires communication with both applicants and various internal departments.
You must have excellent telephone, written and verbal communication skills; professional and positive attitude, presentation, maturity, and comportment; good reasoning abilities and sound judgment.
With the mindset of elevating the human spirit our admin and recruiters must have strong customer service skills and be able to treat both internal and external customers in a manner consistent with the Comfort Keepers company culture.
MAIN ASSIGNMENTS Conduct the onboarding of new caregivers to include, completion of new hire paperwork.
Connect with existing caregivers.
Attract suitable candidates through databases, online employment forums, social media, etc.
Maintain an understanding and knowledge of staffing, recruitment and retention initiatives for the office/region and proactively seek and implement new, creative recruitment tactics to attract qualified candidates.
Collaborating with managers and local business partners to compile a consistent list of staffing requirements.
Keep up to date on local trends and how to stay competitive in the local community.
This may include benchmarking competitor pay ranges and benefits packages.
Promote Comfort Keepers reputation and attractiveness as an employer of choice while driving the company culture of Elevating the Human Spirit.
Keep up to date on current employment legislation and regulations and enforcing them within the company.
Initiate hiring process for Comfort Keepers including processing applications, background screening, assessments, interviewing, and reference checks; makes hiring recommendations.
Provide recruitment reports to manager and / or Franchise Owner Performs other administrative tasks as assigned.
ACCOUNTABILITIES Efficient employee handling, as demonstrated by key indicators like employee engagement and caregiver turnover rate.
Successful management of staffing needs as demonstrated by success of recruiting plan, quality of caregiver, and staffing for growth of business.
Timely feedback on trends, challenges, performance improvement opportunities, and kudos.

The employee will be expected to perform other job duties as assigned.
As a Human Resources Admin, you will be responsible for the administrative aspects of the recruiting process which include onboarding, new hire paperwork, reference, and background checks; ability to handle confidential information with great sensitivity and ensure caregivers are fully compliant with state specific regulations before starting.
You will ensure consistent accuracy of database and employee file information with initial new hire paperwork.
You will be responsible for working with Administrator and Recruiter to ensure that all compliance requirements for the caregiver staff are met, including any state specific regulations that must be before caregiver's first day of work.
This will include tasks such as scheduling caregiver for annual background check certification.
At times you will be asked to assist in completing 30- and 90-day follow up survey; obtaining updated licenses and registrations; maintaining the caregiver's digital HR file in OneDrive; documenting / submitting workers compensation case information; other tasks as directed by the Operations Manager.
