Summary:
Under general supervision from management, your job as a gate guard is to act as security by verifying visitors to ensure that unauthorized people are not entering the premises.
A primary function of this and every other job at the NSCI/Riverbend is to ensure that each member, guest, and visitor receives the highest caliber of service.
Responsibilities Check visitors pass prior to them entering the gate.
If they do not have a pass direct them to the office.
Check members vehicles to make sure their star is present.
Directing visitors, issuing gate passes if the office is closed.
Observe and monitor the flow of people coming in and out of the gate to detect inappropriate or illegal behavior.
Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications A clean Driver's License is required.
You will also need reliable transportation.
Excellent work habits including punctuality, efficient use of time, prioritizing tasks.
Working independently to maintain our standards.
Excellent working skills including communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to details.
Must have a clean criminal background and clean driving record.
Physical Requirements Ability to perform moderate physical work.
Including but not limited to the ability to stand or walk for a long period of time.
