As the Pre-Op RN you will be responsible for:
Maintaining patient flow and communication of appointment status.
Providing patients with the information to prepare the patient for ENT surgical procedures in an ambulatory care setting.
Preparing patients for surgeries/procedures have pre-op, consent, and skin-prep, if needed, completed.
Requirements Trained in asepsis, infection control, and sterilization.
Ability to effectively work and communicate with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.
Good judgment with the ability to make a timely and sound decision.
Prepare patient for same day surgery.
Pre-op and post-op patient calls.
Ensure patients understand all instructions.
